Recipe - Tuna Noodle Casserole

Here is a family recipe I wanted to share with you. Pictured below is the casserole my Mom and I made together. You can make this with your favorite egg noodles. We used wide egg noodles this time but you can go with fine or medium width noodles.

What You'll Need

2 cans (10 1/2 ounces ea) Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can filled with milk
1 cup frozen green peas
2 cans (about 5 ounces each ) tuna in water, drained
4 ounces (about 2 cups) medium egg noodles, cooked and drained
2 tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter, melted

How to Make It

  • 1
Heat the oven to 400°F.  Stir the soup, milk, peas, tuna and noodles in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.  Stir the bread crumbs and butter in a small bowl.
  • 2
Bake the tuna mixture for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling.  Stir the tuna mixture.  Sprinkle with the bread crumb mixture.
  • 3
Bake for 5 minutes or until the bread crumb mixture is golden brown.

Restaurant Review - Fast N Fresh

After shopping the other day, my Mom and I stopped at Fast N Fresh for lunch.

Their are three locations in the Sarasota area.

I got the kids turkey on white bread with chips on the side. My Mom got the Cobb Salad. She loves their salads. You even get the option to design your own salad and she does that everything.

This place is pricey but the ingredients are
definitely fresh! Service isn't so fast, as their name says. You first go in, place your order at one counter, then go down to the next counter to pay. They give you a number for your table. You then have to wait. Each time we go their isn't very many people dinning but it can take a good 10-15 minutes to receive your food after sitting down.

Check out their menu and I'm sure you'll find something you like!

Even though service is a bit slow we give this place 5 out of 5 stars for their awesome salads!
